For the Chrome extension to work properly, the Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 (32-bit) redistributable must be installed on each workstation where the extension is installed.
The technical definitions and windows configuration for Google Chrome must be performed in Internet Explorer. Also, it is best practice to create the technical definitions from the same operating system version and browser as end-users' workstations have.
The documentation uses the term 'plug-in' to define included authentication methods for types of applications within ESSO when creating technical definitions. There is not a plug-in or extension you install within the Edge browser, like is done for Chrome.
10.0 is compatible with Chrome with the extension installed. It is found in the Chrome Web Store at this link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/enterprise-sso/mheiphfcfdhlkecdhpgblhpemkecaheh
